Qx-Comp is a 2 band dynamic EQ where the EQ bands
are controlled by a robust suite of knobs more akin to a compressor.
But also with an “X” factor! The gain reduction
from the current band can be inverted to a gain increase
signal and blended into the opposing band.
This allows the bands to influence each other to
add dynamics but still be able to maintain a more balanced loudness.
Or, when pushed, for more creative sound design purposes.
